Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post. Without your support, none of this would be possible.
Many, many hours of work go into getting to the point of launching a new pattern. This is especially true if the pattern is launched as a CAL. It is a team effort.
Designing is an expensive pass time. Your support enables me to purchase the yarn required to make the multiple samples for the pattern. It also helps towards the cost of camera and computer equipment. Software is another big expense, as is purchasing the music clips for the video tutorials and keeping the web site up to date.
So, a BIG thank you to YOU if you are a subscriber or have purchased any of my patterns in the past. Your support keeps me occupied and happy. It makes my retirement enjoyable (I’m a workaholic)!
Enjoy Romantic Rendezvous! Please scroll down to see more information about this CAL.
100% Cotton Yarn Kits are available from ColourSpun. Tap or click here to view options and purchase a kit.
If you purchase a yarn kit, please ensure that you are working to the correct gauge to avoid running out of yarn, especially if you tend to crochet loosely.
My wish for you is that you have been blessed to have known a special love, or maybe this is still in your future? The initial overwhelming attraction. The excitement and anticipation of things to come. Remember, or imagine, that incredible feeling of romantic love;
I have incorporated some of these feelings and elements of romantic love into Romantic Rendezvous.
Romantic Rendezvous is a companion pattern to my Dearly Beloved. Dearly Beloved comprised of squares joined together. Romantic Rendezvous is worked in one piece. If you are familiar with Dearly Beloved, you will recognise some of the pattern elements.
The written pattern is supported by video tutorials. These are available in both right- and left-handed versions. Links to the videos are provided in the written pattern and on the applicable page on the website.
A huge thank you goes to the following lovely and talented ladies who tested the pattern for me:
They did this so willingly and with so much enthusiasm. I am truly grateful to them for their ongoing support.
Thanks go to Jarryd Long for all his hard work in keeping the blog and website in great shape.
Dana Biddle of ColourSpun has been a wonderful collaborator on most of my patterns. Thanks Dana for your ongoing support. I love your beautiful hand-dyed yarns. A really special treat to be able to work with these yarns.
