My dearest Neaverlanders
We are coming to the end of 2020. A year that has brought us all so many unexpected challenges.
For many of us crochet has literally been a lifesaver. It has given us purpose and joy and allowed us to express our creativity. It is the perfect distraction from the day to day issues we face.
I have been especially busy designing patterns for you. This is the 5th one to be released this week. The Ladies who Lunch Placemats.
Invoking long, lazy summer days. A light lunch and animated chats with great friends. Let’s raise a glass of cool champagne in celebration of the strong and independent women we are.
These placemats are an easy and fun project. I so enjoyed working with the colors I chose. The bright colors, contrasted with the stark white, are happy colors and lifted my mood every time I worked on the project. The pattern lends itself to endless color possibilities and I look forward to seeing pictures of your creativity.
I used a combination of DK (#3) for the main part and Superfine (#1) for the contrast color. You can use any yarn weight. Simply adjust the size to accommodate your chosen yarn
I have prepared a FREE INTRODUCTION document for you. Please download this for detailed information.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your loyalty and support during 2020. I would also like to wish you Happy Holidays. I pray that 2021 will be a much better year for us all.
Love & Light
The written pattern is supported by both right- and left-handed video tutorials.
You will not be able to complete this project unless you have purchased the written pattern. The video tutorials are supplementary to the written pattern. The video tutorials for this pattern focus on the rows needed to establish the pattern only. Links to the unlisted You-Tube videos are available in the written pattern.
A big thank you goes to Kim Lategan and Val Burton for testing this pattern.
The pattern is available to purchase for US$1.99 through The Neave Collection and Ravelry.
